WHEN THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS FRIGHTFUL..... we hum along in the weaving studio. Learn to weave on table looms or floor looms in this class where everything is provided for you - fibers, tools, looms, instructions, etc. We are a low key class, each person moving at their own pace. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring snacks to share.
Years ago, Noel Hammock developed a weaving studio for the members of SESSC to learn, create and produce beautiful weavings. As the years progressed people made a variety of weavings, taught many people in the community and left an amazing weaving studio to the Rainier Valley community.
SESSC has partnered with Seattle Weavers’ Guild and welcomes the entire community to the new weaving studio. Classes are offered during the daytime hours as well as evenings. Drop in studio time can be arranged for a small fee. Check us out. The best deal in town for your weaving desires.
