Social Programs

  • Community Dining - hot meals Tuesday - Friday
  • Coffee Bar - serving hot drinks and smiles for only 50 cents a cup
  • Recreational Trips - frequent trips to casinos, museums, parks, and other points of interest
  • Cards and Games - come by to play canasta, pinochle, and other games
  • Bingo - our weekly group plays for cash prizes

Physical Activity

  • Enhance Fitness - aerobics and chair exercises in a fun, supportive environment
  • T'ai Chi - learn to move while meditating
  • Line Dancing - do the Boot Scootin' Boogie
  • Sound Steps - walk around the neighborhood and at scenic locations around Seattle

  • Enhance Wellness - learn to be happier and healthier in one-on-one meetings with our social worker
  • Senior Outreach - find out what resources are available to you and get help accessing them
  • Mammograms - be sure to schedule your mammogram appointment with us
  • Footcare - we provide thorough care for tender feet, including diabetics
  • Blood Pressure Checks - we'll take your blood pressure and record the results for free
  • Medical Equipment Loans - we have the equipment you need to take care of yourself or your loved ones
  • Transportation Information - learn how to get around using free transportation options
  • AA Meetings - Alcoholics Anonymous meets here every week
  • Massage - our in-house masseuse will rejuvenate your body
  • Pet Food Donations - we receive free pet food that we distribute to the community
  • Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group - a Spanish-language group to share stories and strategies
  • Living Well, Living Healthy - a discussion group for healthy aging

  • Art Classes - we partner regularly with SEED Arts and Seniors Making Art
  • Weaving - daytime and evening classes sponsored by the Seattle Weaving Guild

  • AARP Drivers' Education - review safety strategies and get a break in insurance rates

  • Coping with Chronic Conditions- A free, 6-week workshop proven to help you learn to control your symptoms and live well.  For anyone with arthritis, diabetes, depression, chronic pain, or any other chronic condition. View the flyer.
  • A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns about Falls - A free, 8-week class for anyone concerned about falling. View the flyer.
  • Healthy Weight Group - A free weekly group to support you in meeting your weight goals. View the flyer. or Read our Success Story article about how Kathe, one of our center members, lost over 100lbs with the help and support of the Healthy Weight Group.

Special Events

Keep an eye out for our special events and programs, such as MLK Day celebrations, Chinese New Year parties, St. Patty's Day dances, summer picnics, and much more. We have a birthday party on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
