Alexander Arceo is the Administrative Assistant for Southeast Seattle Senior Center and collaborates with the Director and Program Coordinator. His hobbies include spending time with his family, fishing, cycling, and reading. He hopes to make a difference in all of his endeavors and is honored to be part a great team that is dedicated and focused on doing what it takes to make the Center a positive, bright, and joyful environment for its members.

Michael assists seniors with a wide variety of challenges including information and referral, minor home repair, transportation, and legal issues.

Jean Anton is our Social Worker and PALS Coordinator. She has been teaching step aerobics for over 10 years. Her favorite things to do include hiking and cross-country skiing, speaking Spanish, line dancing, and playing with her grandchildren (ages 5 and 2). She loves working at the Southeast Seattle Senior Center because the people are fabulous!
Kate Harkins, Thrift Store Manager

Kate Harkins is a community artist and has taught collage classes at SESSC. In addition to managing SESSC's Cheap Chickadee Thrift Store, she is also an avid shopper: 95% of her wardrobe comes from thrift stores.
Mary Fields, Food Preparation Specialist

Mary Fields started working at SESSC in 2008 as a Title V worker from NAAPCA. She was hired permanently by the Center at the end of that program. In addition to doing the cooking and managing the kitchen, Mary loves good music and dancing.
Mark Bryant, Enhance Fitness Instructor

Nationwide Enhance Fitness Instructor of the Year Mark Bryant leads several classes at SESSC for a variety of fitness levels. Mark is also a champion weight lifter and recently won the "Raw State Record" for power lifting 405 pounds just five months after a hip replacement surgery.
Marigrace Becker, Sound Steps Coordinator

For the past three years, Marigrace Becker has supported SESSC walkers by coordinating the Seattle Parks and Recreation's Sound Steps Walking Program. Since completing her BA in English Literature from Seattle Pacific University in 2003, she has worked as a program coordinator in not-for-profit organizations related to education, health and civic engagement. A second year MSW student at University of Washington, Marigrace is focusing on aging and community activism. She loves working with SESSC's lively seniors!
