We have all been enjoying the lovely art work on display currently in the social Hall. If you would like to learn more about it, come on by. Guided Autobiography Workshop* (8 Sessions)

Dementia Friendly Drumming Circle

3rd Fridays, April 15th, May 20th and June 17th, 1:00pm - 2:00pm

A neat activity for people with any stage of memory loss to come together and explore the healing nature of rhythm and beats. Care-partners, family, and friends are encouraged to participate. Drums and other percussion instruments provided. All are welcome to join in!

Music, Memory and Motion Dance Class

This is one of the most popular activities at the SESSC. Edna will get you moving and grooving to great music and meet you at your fitness level.

Let’s Share Poetry

This is your chance to share your poetry with others or to listen to poems written by SESSC members and others. Minnie Collins, an SESSC member will lead the group and share some of her poems.

Open-Studio (Day Use) Weaving

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Location: Weaving Room

Cost: $5.00 per day
Experienced weavers and those who have completed their first two samplers are invited to utilize SESSC looms on an open-loom basis. A pre-paid punch card is available for your use. Purchase card at Front Desk.

We’re Coloring Anyway!

Thursdays, 10:00am - 11:00am
Location: Social Hall

Cost: Complimentary
Coloring in coloring books is a healing, therapeutic activity for adults and can help ease tension, help you relax, and inspire creativity. Join us! You may bring your own coloring books and crayons. The Center has a limited supply of crayons and things to color that you may use. Please join us!

Beginning Weaving

Tuesdays, 9:00am - 12:00pm
Location: Weaving Room

Instructor: Linda Stryker
Cost : $15.00 Members, $20.00 Non-Members per session
This is a continuous meeting time. Call instructor to see if a loom is open. All materials provided. Calculate, warp and weave two samplers. Most people take 4-5 sessions to complete their samplers. Contact Linda Stryker at 206-431-9213 or LLStryker@hotmail.com if you are interested.
